Non-invasive Hands-on Reiki Healing.

Reiki Healing
Non-invasive Hands-on Reiki Healing is the most popular way of receiving Reiki healing therapy. Hands are lightly held on the seven (7) major energy points of the body (chakras) approximately 10cm above the body. Although not exclusively so, the Therapist will also be intuitively guided to the areas of the body that requires the most healing or balancing. The Recipient may lie on a bed or sit on a chair/couch whilst remaining fully clothed.
Distance Reiki Healing is another way of receiving Reiki Healing Energy. The Reiki Practitioner will direct the Reiki Energy through distance to the receiver. Energy knows no boundaries.
Reiki healing takes place below the level of consciousness and the benefit of the healing session is experienced for days after the healing.
The healing experience of each individual is unique. Some may experience cold, heat, tingles, pins and needles whilst others may sink into a deep healing sleep, your experience is unique to your body and its healing needs, there are no expectations, pre-conceived ideas, judgment etc.
What are the benefits of Reiki?

Reiki helps to harmonize body, mind and spirit for the Recipient as well as the Reiki Therapist. It replenishes, rejuvenates and restores balance to the body. Reiki treats the whole body and brings about a deep sense of relaxation and calmness.
Reiki can be used for many ailments e.g. reducing stress, relieving pain, headaches, stomach upsets, back problems, anxiety, menstrual problems and many more.

What is Reiki
and where does it originate from?
Reiki (pronounced Ray-key) originates from Japan and is a Japanese name consisting of 2 words Rei and Ki it is a non-invasive alternate healing modality. It is practiced through the “laying on of hands” in order to facilitate holistic healing. Energy is channeled through the Reiki Practitioner to the Recipient. Healing occurs when emotional energy blocks are released from the body and the natural balance between body, mind and spirit is restored.

Reiki is not a religion and is not a replacement of modern medicine e.g. Reiki will not prevent a terminally ill person from passing over, nor will it hold them back, but Reiki can ease the process for them.
